Odoo Integrator in Bordeaux: the 8 questions to ask before choosing

To choose an Odoo integrator in Bordeaux, first check their partnership level and certified experts in the official directory of Odoo. Then ask for references in your field, who will do the configuration and development, and how they estimate, train, and provide support. Ask the same eight questions to each provider, then compare the answers.

An Odoo integrator analyzes your processes, configures the software, develops what is missing, trains your teams, and provides support. They do not sell the license: Odoo bills the client directly, and the partner invoices their work. This guide is written by Nuprod, an Odoo Silver Partner integrator in Gironde. For each question, it indicates why to ask it, what a good answer contains, where to verify it, and what Nuprod's response is.

To remember

  • Odoo classifies its official partners into three levels, Ready, Silver, and Gold, based on the number of Odoo Enterprise users sold over twelve months, the number of certified consultants, and customer retention.
  • The directory of partners on odoo.com displays, for each integrator, their level, their certified experts by version, and the size of their reference projects.
  • The level measures the size and activity of a partner, not their suitability for your project. Odoo reminds us of this.
  • A serious quote separates license, integration, training, and support. The Odoo Enterprise license is paid to Odoo.
  • To have the training funded by your OPCO, choose a training organization certified Qualiopi.

Is an Odoo integrator based in Bordeaux necessary?

Not necessarily. An integrator configures, develops, and provides remote support. Proximity matters at three points in the project: the analysis of your processes, which is best done in the workshop, the store, or the office; the in-person training; and the startup, when your teams use the tool in real conditions for the first time.

For a small business in Gironde, the useful question becomes: how many days on-site does the quote provide for, and who is traveling? An integrator from Paris or Nantes may be suitable if they account for these travels.

Nuprod is based in Gironde. The team operates in Bordeaux, Mérignac, Pessac, Langon, Libourne, Bazas, Arcachon, Bergerac, Périgueux, Marmande, and Agen, and works remotely throughout France. The details of the offer are on the page integrator Odoo in Bordeaux.

The 8 questions to ask an Odoo integrator

Ask them in writing, to the same contacts, before comparing the quotes. The first three can be verified online even before the first meeting.

1. What is your level of Odoo partnership?

Why to ask it. Odoo classifies its official partners into three levels and reviews this classification every quarter. Three criteria matter: the new Odoo Enterprise users sold over twelve months, the certified consultants on one of the last three versions, and the customer retention.

Thresholds published by Odoo on its partners page and in its partnership contract. They may evolve.

A good answer. An official level, verifiable online. A "Learning Partner" is still training and is not listed in the official ranking. The level alone is not enough: Odoo itself states that a Gold partner is not the best choice for every project.

Where to verify. The directory of Odoo partners, filtered for France and Gironde.

Nuprod's response. Silver Partner since September 2025.

2. How many certified consultants, on which version, and who will work on my project?

Why to ask it. Odoo certification validates the knowledge of a specific version, and Odoo releases a major version every year. The number of certified individuals in the company matters less than the people assigned to your project.

A good answer. The name and role of the project manager and consultants, along with their certifications and versions.

Where to verify. The "Certified Experts" section of the integrator's profile in the Odoo directory.

Nuprod's response. Three certified experts: two on Odoo 18 and one on Odoo 17 (Odoo directory, October 2026).

3. What references in my field, and can I call a client?

Why to ask it. An integrator used to e-commerce does not necessarily know production management, and vice versa. A reference of the same profession and size is worth more than a long list.

A good answer. Two or three clients in your sector and of your size, with a contact you can call.

Where to check. The references of the profile in the Odoo directory, with their sector, and the block "Reference Sizes" that indicates the largest project and the average size.

The response from Nuprod. An average project of 6 users and a larger one of more than 40 (Odoo directory). Achievements in industry, catering, e-commerce, and trading, including the adaptation of Odoo to a cooperage, a point of sale for high-end catering, and a connection to CAD software SolidWorks and TopSolid.

4. Who analyzes, who configures, who develops?

Why to ask it. Some integrators outsource development. The choice of hosting also matters: Odoo Online does not accept specific code, Odoo.sh and a dedicated server accept it. Each specific development is then maintained with each version upgrade.

A good answer. A named team, an internal development or a declared subcontractor, and a clear rule: the standard first, no-code customization next, development last.

Where to check. The project schedule and an example of a specification document from a past project, anonymized.

The response from Nuprod. Analysis, configuration, and development in-house, with more than 50 specific modules completed.

5. How do you estimate the project?

Why ask it. A global amount does not allow for comparing two quotes. An Odoo project is estimated in four areas: the license, payed to Odoo; integration (analysis, configuration, data migration, developments); training; operation (hosting, support, annual upgrade).

A good answer. A quote item by item, with the number of days per phase, the billing method (fixed price or time spent) and what is not included.

Where to check. Compare two or three quotes on the same scope: same applications, same number of users, same data to migrate.

Nuprod's response. A free audit framework for the scope before any quote.

6. How do you train my teams, and is the training fundable?

Why ask it. A well-configured but poorly understood Odoo remains underutilized. To have the training funded by your OPCO, the training organization must be certified Qualiopi, a requirement in effect since January 1, 2022. Certification grants the right to funding, it does not guarantee it.

A good answer. A training plan by profession (accounting, sales, workshop), in-person or remote, materials provided to the teams, and an internal referent trained first.

Where to check. Request the valid Qualiopi certificate and the category of actions it covers.

Nuprod's response. Certified Qualiopi organization, with Odoo training customized by sector, in person or remotely.

7. What happens after the startup?

Why ask it. Odoo asks its partners to be the first level of support for their clients. After the startup come corrections, new needs, and then a major version of Odoo every year. Without a contract, each request becomes a negotiation.

A good answer. A written support contract: channels (ticket, phone), response times, hours included, rates for additional requests, and conditions for version upgrades.

Where to check. The standard support contract, to be requested before signing, and the feedback from the reference client of question 3.

The response from Nuprod. Nuprod provides support to its clients after production and deployment. We also offer hourly support packages based on your needs.

8. If we change providers, what do we recover ?

Why ask it. A small business sometimes changes integrators: team relocation, disagreement, stalled project. It must then start over with its database, its code, and its documentation, without relying on the former provider.

A good answer. A contract that addresses five points: the Odoo subscription in your company's name, your administrator access, the ownership or right to use the specific code, access to the sources (Git deposit, Odoo.sh project) and the configuration documentation.

Where to check. The clauses of intellectual property and reversibility of the contract. Also check the holder of the subscription in your odoo.com account.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an Odoo integrator cost in Bordeaux?

There is no standard price. The cost depends on the scope, the number of users, the data to be migrated, and the developments. Compare quotes item by item: license paid to Odoo, integration, training, and operation. An initial audit allows you to estimate all quotes on the same basis.

What is the difference between an Odoo Silver and Gold partner?

The volume of activity and the certified team. Odoo publishes thresholds of 75 new Enterprise users per year for Silver and 300 for Gold, and its partnership contract requires three certified consultants for Silver, six for Gold. The level measures the size of the partner, not its suitability for your project.

How to verify that an integrator is an official partner of Odoo?

Search for their name in the partner directory on odoo.com. The profile displays their level (Ready, Silver, or Gold), their certified experts by version, and their references. A "Learning Partner" is not part of the official partners.

Can we go directly through Odoo, without an integrator?

Yes. Odoo sells its licenses directly and states that it offers its own implementation services, especially for companies with fewer than 50 employees. An integrator also provides on-site presence, knowledge of your business, and specific developments.

Can we change Odoo integrators during the project?

Yes, if the Odoo subscription, administrator access, and the specific code are in your name or accessible. Make sure to include reversibility in the contract upon signing: this is question 8.

Can Odoo training be funded by an OPCO?

Yes, under two conditions: the training organization is certified Qualiopi, mandatory since January 1, 2022, and your OPCO accepts the application. The certification grants the right to funding, without guaranteeing it.
